NEW FUTURE—STRONG FOUNDATION

November 14, 2016

“Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.” —1 Timothy 6:18-19 , NIV

Dear Faith Family:

With the elections now completed, the holidays fast approaching and another year’s experiences added to our scrapbooks, it certainly is a time for new beginnings and high expectations. The same holds true in the life of Faith Community Church. As long-time members of Faith, we are more excited than ever about the prospects of the future and we hope that you, too, share our enthusiasm for Faith Church in 2017.

The year 2017 will be a year of great change at Faith. The announced retirement of Pastor Dave Miller will provide an opportunity for a New Future based on a Strong Foundation provided by Pastors Miller and Aughinbaugh and others who have served our congregation over the years. The new leadership that will soon be in place is based on our belief that the Lord will provide great things for us as we move forward.

To be sure, our church has faced significant financial challenges recently, as it has in the past. However, our foundation is strong and our spiritual commitment has always seen us through those difficult times and helped us maintain the important programs and ministries that make Faith Church so special. Now, more than ever, we need your support and commitment to continue on our mission to maintain the spiritual hope for the future and the well-being of our congregation.

All we ask is for your renewed commitment to support our church financially in 2017. Enclosed are this year’s Promise Cards (One for Operations & Benevolence [white] — One for Building and Capital Improvements [color]) for you to indicate your commitment to the future of Faith Church. There are a number of ways to respond this year.

• Please fill in these cards and bring them with you to church on Sunday, November 20.

• Or, mail them in the enclosed envelope to the church office.

• And, in keeping up with the future in technology, you can easily have your financial support automatically withdrawn and paid weekly or monthly by visiting the EasyTithe page on the FaithRUs.org website.

We hope you’ll continue to ensure our future with your support again this year. Thank you.
