Children’s Ministry

On Sunday mornings the nursery is available for our infants and toddlers; up to age two during our 9:20 a.m. contemporary service and up to age five during our 11:00 a.m. traditional service. Our nursery nurturers provide a wonderful, loving, safe environment. The nursery is also available throughout the week during Mom 2 Mom Bible study, Faith Connection and special events.

Sunday School

Children age two – grade two will begin Sunday School at 9:20 a.m. in their classroom. Children in 3rd through 5th grades attend with their family during a “Praising God in Song” time in worship and then are dismissed to their Sunday school class.

We are using DiscipleLand. A comprehensive curriculum that helps kids become Christ’s disciples for life. A complete plan which ensures that children achieve balanced growth in Bible knowledge, Christ-like character, and faithful conduct-everything kids need to live as devoted followers of Jesus. (

Children’s Church

Children, Kindergarten – 5th grade, attend Children’s Church during the 11:00 a.m. service. We are offering a second hour of Sunday School expanding on the DiscipleLand lessons taught at the earlier service time.

Faith Kids (3rd – 5th grade)

Our meetings are a time of fellowship with activities, Bible, crafts, games, mission projects, trips and more.

“God’s Joy” Choir

Our elementary-aged kid’s choir is part of our Wednesday night Faith Connection program right before Pioneer Clubs which takes place every Wednesday night from 6:00 – 6:30.

Little Lambs

Our weekly playgroup meets once a week on Mondays from 11:15 a.m. until noon in the nursery in our new Children’s Ministry Building. This time is where young children are introduced to the Bible stories about God and his Son, Jesus. There is circle time with singing and stories based on our monthly theme. On the first Monday of each month, our playgroup is extended by going outside on the playground.

Good News Club

We continue to outreach and connect into the local elementary schools through Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) with Good News Clubs. This is a weekly Bible Club offered directly on the school campus once a week for one hour and 45 minutes after school. We are presently serving at Orange Grove Elementary School and Maderia Beach Fundamental.

• To enable children to form healthy relationships.

• To enable children to grow as whole persons.

• To enable adults to understand children and help them to develop.

This is just a cool opportunity for the guys to take the kids out on a Saturday morning, play on our preschool playground and hang out. It’s also a great way to give the moms a little free time too! We’ll have coffee, water, and snacks…but bring your own diaper bags, kid snacks, and child supporting measures!

It’s FREE & FUN…so we hope to see you there. This is geared mainly to preschool age kids and their dads/male guardians. We meet the THIRD SATURDAY of each and every month throughout the year. Call or text Todd Runkle at 727-269-8147 or email him at
